International privacy annex

United States: state privacy rules and LinkedIn outreach controls

US privacy annex covering business enquiries, LinkedIn account-based marketing, advertising disclosures, California and other US applicability thresholds, and service providers.

Status: Draft; US applicability and legal assessment pending

This annex outlines data-processing requirements and relevant sources; it is not a final legal opinion. Legal, privacy and language reviews remain pending, and existing launch restrictions still apply.

Audience

US in-house counsel, exporters, finance and compliance teams with matters involving Russian customs or imports into Russia

Data that may be involved

  • business contact details and company role
  • country or route, document type, deadline and meeting details
  • UTM and referral data and analytics only under the approved consent and provider configuration

Launch safeguards

  • CCPA/CPRA applicability requires an assessment of the statutory thresholds
  • customer-list uploads and retargeting remain blocked pending provider-map and policy approval
  • internal verification records must show how LinkedIn outreach handles referral and UTM data
  • enquiry data is minimised and sensitive personal data is not requested

Service-provider approval

LinkedIn Ads, Insight Tag and customer-list uploads remain blocked pending approval of the privacy notice, provider map and applicability assessment.

Language-version status

The en-US page may be drafted, but its privacy statements remain subject to legal approval.

Implementation evidence required

Pre-campaign verification records the US pages and the state of any LinkedIn tags.
